I have been working with stone and brick for the past 20 years and turned it into my trade in 1998. At that time I started Native Construction and Old World Masonry. I did masonry construction from block foundations to fireplaces to stucco stone. About 1999, while working on my own home, I learned of a product called interlocking paving stones. After installing them on my own driveway, patio, and sidewalks, I was sold on them!! I introduced them to my clients and the rest, as they say, is history.

The majority of my work became the installation of paving stones and as the demand grew I decided to make the installation of paving stones my focus. I became certified with the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) and remain a member of this organization to keep current on the latest products and installation techniques. The geographic area I cover is Southern Oregon and Northern California. I am licensed in both states, Or #148987, Ca# 726938; however I will travel out of the area to produce the superior results that cannot be found elsewhere.

Native Construction & Paver Design specializes in project design, the purchase and installation of interlocking paving stones or any part thereof. I have worked with homeowners, business owners, contractors, city planners and engineers. My goal is to give, you, my client, the look and feel you want.

I will work with your dreams and ideas or I can introduce concepts for your choosing. The applications are limitless for this superior product. Let me work with you to bring this understated elegance to your project.

Our product is the design and installation of interlocking paving stones. Paving stones are an alternate means of pavement. They are uniquely designed to transfer loads and stresses over large areas of paving by means of a "bridging" action between the individual units. Such spreading allows heavier weight and traffic over sub-bases, which normally would require heavily reinforced concrete. Properly installed, pavers resist shifting, sinking, or buckling and provide an excellent surface for walking, bicycling, and driving cars, trucks, and even forklifts. Pavers out last concrete and asphalt with minimal maintenance. Pavers don't break, don't need to be resurfaced and can be removed to accommodate design change or utility placement. There is a selection of different sizes, shapes, and colors. Any type of paver pattern can be achieved.

The potential sites for installing paving stones is limitless. Here is a partial list of areas well suited for paver application.

Sidewalks, stables, patios, driveways, pool decks, porches, bus stops, crosswalks,
intersections, parking lots, traffic islands, erosion control.

Industrial grade paving stones are used for airports, bus stations, train stations, loading docks and ramps.

The cost of interlocking paving stones is less compared to concrete and asphalt in the long run.

What makes our company special? It is one of the few ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute) certified paving stone installation companies in North America.
Native Construction & Paver Design is licensed in California and Oregon and is bonded and insured.
